Love is Blind - Why do we care?

In a world that loves reality tv - why do we love some and judge others so quickly? These individuals do not have backgrounds, yet we want some to fail and be miserable!  Why aren't we cheering for all of them to get the help they need to be better individuals and healthier partners? Love is Blind made me think about how we quickly judge those getting out of the criminal justice system and how we want them to fail to get out of our neighborhoods and away from our families - yet, on the other hand, we want them to "Succeed."  Which is it?
